Whale Tail Works LLC ("we", "our") makes premium games and runs a small online storefront. Our privacy philosophy is simple: we collect as little as possible — usually nothing.
This website
whaletailworks.net is a static website. We do not run our own analytics or set our own tracking cookies. It is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may log standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to operate the service — see GitHub's privacy statement.
Embedded videos and fonts
Video players load from YouTube only when you choose to play a video. We use its privacy-enhanced embed mode. Playback connects your browser to Google/YouTube, which may process technical information and use cookies under its own policies. This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google privacy policy.
Our games
Our premium games are offline-first titles that contain no advertising SDKs, require no accounts, and transmit no gameplay data to us. Our free games show non-personalised advertisements between puzzles through Google AdMob and offer one purchase that removes them; they still require no accounts and send us nothing. Game saves are stored locally on your device. Each game's own policy is linked from its store listing and below.
Purchases
Purchases of our games are processed by the app store you buy them from (such as Google Play), under that store's own privacy policy. We receive only the anonymous sales reporting those platforms provide to all developers — never your payment details.
eBay storefront
Orders placed on our eBay listings are handled by eBay under eBay's privacy policy. We use the address you provide there solely to ship your order.
If you email us, we use your address only to reply. We don't add you to lists or share it with anyone.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
